VTG 1970's Husband & Wife at the Kyiv Fair | Ceramic Ukrainian KYIV, Soviet USSRAbout 7.25" tall
Looks like there might be a repair on the back / side of neck of the woman, I am not 100% sure. Looks like either some kind of glaze or clear adhesive, again not sure. See Last two photos.
Soviet hand-painted double porcelain figurine designed by Vladislav Ivanovich Shcherbin (1926-2017).
The figurine was produced during the Soviet era at the Kyiv Experimental Arts Ceramics Factory.
The porcelain figurine depicts a man and a woman in traditional, ornate costumes. The man has a distinctive mustache and holds a small pig. The woman wears an ornate red cap, rich jewelry around her neck, and gold coins rest in her hand.
