The Finch Mine is World-Famous for its Sparkling Transparent, Micro-Drusy Quartz Crystal Covered Wulfenite, it is the Only place in the World that it is Found. Additionally, it is known for its Beautiful, Rare Fluorescent Matrixes and frequently the Crystals as well. The Fluorescence is seen in SHORTWAVE UV Light (not a Longwave Scorpion light). An Incredible Piece Featuring Drusy Hemimorphite and Dozens of Wulfenite Crystals in several Vugs and a Seam!....please see photos. "The Finch Mine" (also known as the "Barking Spider" Mine) is an Iconic Mine that is located in Gila County, Arizona, USA. Active Prospecting and Mining began around 1800 and the mine was chiefly worked for Vanadium, Molybdenom, Lead, Zinc and Copper. Ore from this District was Historically shipped to the nearby Hayden smelter.
