Foster Yazzie IHMSS Sterling Silver & Lapis Lazuli Concho Leather Belt 39" For Sale

You are looking at a vintage Foster Yazzie IHMSS handmade sterling silver concho belt with lapis lazuli accents.This belt is in good previously owned condition and features (9) sterling silver conchos, each decorated with a blue lapis cabochon and unique Southwestern-style figural designs. The buckle and belt tip are also sterling silver.The reverse of the buckle is stamped “IHMSS” and features a stylized “Y” maker’s hallmark within a mountain-shaped design. The hallmark appears similar to marks attributed to Foster Yazzie.The leather belt appears to have been shortened or modified by a previous owner. It currently The end of the belt has been cut, and there are no adjustment holes or a hook remaining. The belt cannot currently be fastened as intended without further modification.The sterling silver components could be removed and reattached to a replacement leather belt, allowing the piece to be restored or customized for a better fit.
