A FOUNDER\'S GRADE FROG MECHANISM for a Stanley No. 4 1/2, 6 or 7 plane, by STANLEY. This frog mechanism has the yoke for the frog adjustment screw that employed the 1910 patent adjustment that first appeared on Type 10 planes. This exceptionally well preserved frog includes the original fixing screws to secure the frog to the plane body and it retains 95% of its original black japan finish.
