An absolutely gorgeous classic French neo classic French empire damask.
A beautiful design called Josephine. I believe to honor the first empress of France, Josephine Bonaparte.
Lovely tone in the yellow ochre range. Sort of a rich deeper buttercream or buttercup yellow to me? On an off white base. The color is technically called ivory by Edmond Petit. It can change with the light a bit & look more yellow ochre gold.
As always, tones vary in individual home lighting etc..
A cotton & viscose. Though somewhat resembles a silk in many ways. It’s definitely a high quality textile.
Possibly still printed as I did find some reference online but I believe it may be a trade only textile
This one is aprox 15 years old. From a lovely home where I acquired some stunning textiles. All high end, Pierre Frey etc..
Unused & in lovely condition. It will however probably need a fresh press from being folded for many years. I always recommend a professional press on high end pieces.
Excellent in any interiors project.

I can keep up to 3 yards uncut as Inam working with several lengths of this one.
