GOVERNOR CLINTON HOTEL NYC VINTAGE VERY RARE ART DECO GLASS ASHTRAY. CIRCA 1929.

Located across from the old, demolished Pennsylvania Station, at 371 7th. Avenue New York City, (the corner of West 31st. Street), this hotel was opened 8/19/29 until 1974. The building still stands today. The telephone number was; PE6 - 3400.
This circular glass ashtray measures approximately 5-1/4” in diameter.
There is a match holder attached to the rim, and a cigarette snuffer in the center.
The words “Hotel Governor Clinton opposite Penn Station New York” appear on the front in white lettering. On the rear of the item are the words; “Pat Applied For “ , embossed in the glass. The graphics are very strong.
This ashtray is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or ruff spots. (See pics).
A fantastic addition to any ashtray, hotel or New York City collection.
