Signed Booklet, small 4to (8½" X 11"), 20pp. Fine. Spring 1993 full issue of "Know" (Volume XXVI, Issue 2), a quarterly magazine published by Encyclopaedia Britannica in Chicago. Front and rear glossy wrappers depict six large gold medallions, each with name of recipient below -- the fourth annual Britannica Award. Alongside his name and medallion on the front wrapper, Kennan signs boldly in black fineline. Other recipients include Stephen W. Hawking, Jane Goodall and Paul A. Samuelson. Numerous color images of the award event accompany the article. Quite unusual!
