German KM2000 Combat Knife with Sheath
Made in Germany
by is one of Germany's oldest and most respected manufacturers of edged weapons and tactical tools. With roots tracing back to the 19th century, Eickhorn has become synonymous with precision engineering, exceptional quality, and battle-proven reliability. Designated Kampfmesser 2000 ("combat knife 2000"), the KM2000 is the standard combat knife of the German Bundeswehr, adopted in the early 2000s as the modern combat knife pattern of the German armed forces and intended from the ground up as a hard-use field and fighting knife for professional military service.
DescriptionThis German-made KM2000 combat knife is the current-production version built with upgraded Böhler N695 stainless steel for improved edge retention and durability. It features a double-edged Western-style Tanto blade with a black Kalgard coating and a partially serrated section near the handle, giving you both a powerful thrusting point and aggressive slicing capability for cordage, webbing, and other tough materials. The full-tang blade is mated to a fiberglass-reinforced synthetic handle that is shaped for a secure, non-slip grip in wet or dry conditions. The pommel exposes the tang to form a functional glass breaker and includes a lanyard hole for additional retention options. The KM2000 comes with a robust black synthetic sheath that is compatible with U.S. MOLLE and German IDZ carrying systems. The sheath includes an integrated diamond sharpening plate so the knife can be maintained in the field. Taken together, this makes the KM2000 not only a collectible example of modern German military design and the current standard Bundeswehr combat knife, but also a serious working tool for tactical, outdoor, and emergency use.Specifications: OVERALL LENGTH: 30.2 cm BLADE THICKNESS: 5 mm BLADE LENGTH: 17.2 cm OVERALL WEIGHT: 330 g STEEL: Böhler N695 stainless (HRC 57) ORIGIN: Solingen, Germany NotesThe buyer will receive a German Eickhorn KM2000 combat knife with sheath nearly identical to the one described above and shown in the photos below.
