Goldenrod Creamery Brodhead Wisconsin Dairy Milk Can Farm Advertising Primitive For Sale

The Goldenrod Creamery Company was a genuine part of Brodhead\'s dairy history, operating from a creamery at Eleventh Street and West Fifth Avenue and producing butter and cheese for many years. Historical photographs preserved by the Brodhead Historical Society even document Golden Rod horse-drawn delivery service carrying butter, cream, cheese and milk, while Wisconsin dairy records list Goldenrod Creamery in Brodhead among the state\'s butter factories in 1927. The business endured well beyond that period: federal records from 1968 document interstate transportation of cheese and butter under contract with Goldenrod Creamery Co. After the creamery eventually closed, its building and land were deeded to the city, and the original creamery building no longer survives. That makes a marked working piece like this more than farmhouse decoration—it is surviving material history from Wisconsin\'s dairy country.
