Vintage Handmade Studio Pottery Chicken Roaster / Donut Cooker with Lid - Green Drip Glaze
Beautiful vintage handmade stoneware chicken roaster. Donut / bundt shape with central chimney and vented bottom, domed lid with loop handles on sides. Gorgeous drip / reactive glaze in greens, browns, and cream.
Measures approx 8\" diameter x 4.5\" H body, 5.5-6\" H with lid. No maker\'s mark - studio pottery piece, likely 1970s-90s.
Condition: Vintage used condition. There is a chip / glaze loss on the outer rim of the lid as shown in close-up photo. The good news - the rim near the chip is still very solid, thick, and stable - no cracks, no further flaking, lid still sits securely. Some typical speckling / crazing from firing. Inside clean. Heavy, solid stoneware.
Great as intended for chicken / beer can chicken, also makes a beautiful rustic bread baker, planter, or kitchen display.
Packed well. No returns on vintage as-is, please see all photos.
