11 vintage Griffith\'s Purified milk glass spice jars, each with a ribbed body, black bakelite screw lid, and a gold and black paper label printed with the spice name down the front. The mix includes a variety of spices such as curry powder, celery seed, ginger, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, and thyme, so no two jars in the lot are exactly alike. Several still carry their original back label reading net weight, suggested uses, Purified U.S. Sterilization Patent 2,107,697, and The Griffith Laboratories, Chicago, Illinois. These were sold by Griffith Laboratories as purified, sterilized spices packaged for home kitchen use, likely from the 1930s to 1940s based on the packaging style and patent reference. A nice grouping for a vintage kitchen display, farmhouse shelf styling, or building out a milk glass spice jar collection.
Each jar measures approximately 4 inches tall.
