While it is free of chips and cracks to the pottery the piece does have issues;
-the gold glaze around the edge is badly worn
-the main body of the plate has scoring form use (the photo in the book had this also). This has a very porous clay body.
-there is chipping to the blue glaze on 3 of the blue flower petals
-there is water mineral deposit that I didn\'t completely remove. I leave the rest of this to the new owner. I removed the majority of it.
