Rare MGM Grand Wizard of Oz set of four limited-edition character busts: Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and the Scarecrow. Each piece includes its original box and certificate of authenticity from Hanna-Barbera Animation Art, which states that the sculptures were created exclusively for MGM Grand.The certificates describe the busts as cold-cast resin reproductions taken from original sculptures by Sun Studios. Each was individually hand-painted, and the molds used to create the editions were destroyed. Each character was produced in a limited edition of 300, with 30 additional artist’s proofs.Each bust sits on a polished wooden base with a brass character nameplate.
