This group of raucous elephants circles one another in this box figurine. The mouse is on an elephant’s knee. Inside the box lies a tusk.
An extra trunk was sighted on the early boxes between the elephant’s legs, just over the hallmarks. The trunk was removed due to production considerations in August 1996. (This piece has it)
A variety of color variations exist on this piece: the first 1090 were painted yellow and grey until early August, 1996; the next 460 had no coloring at all, after which two of the elephants in the piece were colored grey. Hallmarks include ©, diamond, HBC logo, clock face with month 4, ed.#, and Pc.
