ID'd WW2 WWII USMC P41 Haversack Knapsack Lower Pack Original Khaki For Sale

USMC lower pack named to SGT John W Bisson who served from 1948 - 1953. John initially served with the Marine Detachment, USS Mississippi before joining Maintenance Co, 1st Combat Service Group. He went overseas to Korea during the initial invasion in 1950 and survived the chosin reservoir retreat before joining H&S Co, 1st Battalion, 7th Marines in January of 1951 as a replacement from the marines they lost during chosin. He went on to serve with them through October 1951 when he returned to the US. Since this pack is specifically marked to this unit, it was undoubtably worn in combat in Korea during his tour.
