Here up forsale is a scarce J.W.W. Holden silk stocking mending outfit kit consisting of various shades and lengths of \"soft-silky-floss mercerized cotton\" thread for making repairs, a 2.125\" darning needle which has corrosion present, and a backer card. The card measures a little under 5.5\" x 3.5\" and has numerous tears, a torn away and missing left lower corner, creases, bends, and stains, and a 10 cent price printed in the lower right corner. Probably from the early 1900s or earlier. Might make a nice vintage display item.
