Beautiful Japanese lacquer-style decorative box designed by Yamamoto Kansai. Features an elegant black finish with gold scrollwork and colorful birds and flowers. Great for use as a stationery box, keepsake box, or display piece. Lightweight resin/plastic construction with a high-gloss lacquer-style surface.

Material: Lacquer-style plastic/resin (not natural urushi lacquer)
Shows some surface scratches, a few areas of color loss, and typical signs of age and handling, mainly on the lid and interior. Overall still displays beautifully.
