Jerry Whitethorn - Large Navajo Pictorial Wedding Vase Pot - Old Pueblo - 11 3/4 For Sale

This large old wedding vase pot has been beautifully crafted by Navajo potter Jerry Whitethorn (1949-). It is 11 3/4\" tall by 8 1/2\" wide. There is the original tag identifying the potter. It is also marked JW on the bottom. This pot is in good vintage condition.
The vase pictures a cliff dwelling in bas relief of the type seen at Canyon de Chelly, ancestral home of the Navajo. It is on both sides of the stirrup of the vessel.
