2002 Inkworks #19 “All Hail, Kay!” trading card from Men in Black II, signed on the front in black by John Helms. Helms was not an actor in the film but worked as a miniature set designer on the elaborate locker-world scene featured on the card. The card is ungraded. In very good condition.John Helms was a model maker and set designer who contributed to several sci-fi and fantasy films in the early 2000s. For Men in Black II, he was part of the miniature effects team responsible for creating the elaborate locker-world city featured in the movie. The scene involved a tiny alien civilization living inside a Grand Central Terminal locker, brought to life through detailed miniature craftsmanship. Though Helms wasn’t a credited actor, his design work helped build one of the film’s most memorable and whimsical environments. His behind-the-scenes contributions reflect the artistry often hidden from view but critical to visual storytelling.
