Johnson Brothers England Old Britain Castles Red \"Pink\" S&P Shakers MINTY For Sale

I just purchased this PAIR of vintage JohnsonBrothers salt and pepper shakers from a local estate here in CentralVirginia. The set was produced by theStaffordshire pottery works as part of their “Old Britain Castles” (Pink) lineof dinnerware, introduced circa 1930 and retired 2003. The pieces are well executed with nice moldeddetail to the rectilinear forms and rich color to the red transfers. The shakers (3 and 5 hole) measure 3 ¾” highand 2” square at the shoulder. Both arein excellent condition and retain their original plastic stoppers. This hard to find set would make a niceaddition to your Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castles china service.
