VintageKingston model 60 timer gear, made of brass
A couple of decades ago I ran out of sources for the original plastic drive gear for the otherwise excellent and very popular Kingston Model 60 timer motors, so I beganfabricating them out of brass, and they work out really well.
They're a time-consuming part to make, though, so I have tostart theseat $17.50 plus postage. But it'll likely be the last armature gear you'll ever have to replace in your timer or vintage sign. Brass doesn't break like the soft plastic originals always did. These have been holding upextremely well for me - haven't had to replace one of these brass ones yet, and I've been making them for over 20 years!
It's not a tough gear to replace yourself; I have the instructions posted on my website, and will include the link to them. When your washer, dryer, or dishwasher's Kingston timer stops advancing through the cycles, this little gear's almost always the cause. Also used in vintage animated signs and a few other applications, this has been a very popular motor for many years.
