The Kizer Z-82 The New Widow SMKW The New Avengerbolts SMKW Exclusive is a bold statement piece designed for those who appreciate premium craftsmanship and striking design. As part of the Smoky Mountain Knife Works The Avengerbolts series, this exclusive knife blends tactical functionality with head-turning aesthetics, making it equally at home in your pocket or your collection. With its unique materials, smooth action, and robust construction, The New Widow is ready to handle daily challenges with style.
At its core, this folding knife features a 3.47” tanto blade crafted from 154 CM stainless steel. Known for its excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, 154 CM is an ideal choice for a hardworking everyday knife. The tanto shape provides a strong, reinforced tip for piercing and a straight edge for clean, controlled slicing. Finished in sleek black titanium nitride, the blade gains added resistance to wear and corrosion while exuding a tactical and modern look.
Deployment is fast and fluid thanks to the blade flipper and precision ball-bearing pivot system. A quick flick of the flipper tab brings the blade to life with satisfying smoothness. Once open, a sturdy linerlock holds the blade securely in place, giving you the confidence to take on cutting tasks without hesitation. This reliable mechanism is designed for safety and ease of use, whether you’re performing light utility work or tougher outdoor jobs.
The handle of The New Widow sets it apart from anything else in the series. With its green and black aluminum oxidation finish and UV-printed accents, it delivers a vibrant, high-contrast look that captures attention. This artistic approach to handle design doesn’t sacrifice functionality—aluminum offers excellent strength-to-weight ratio, while the textured surface ensures a secure and comfortable grip. The ergonomics of the handle allow for precise control and reduce hand fatigue during extended use.
Measuring 4.76” closed and 8.23” overall, The New Widow strikes the perfect balance between a substantial presence in hand and easy pocketability. At 4.44 oz., it carries comfortably without feeling too light, offering a reassuring sense of durability. The deep-carry, reversible, tip-up pocket clip provides secure and discreet carry for both right- and left-handed users. A lanyard hole adds extra versatility, allowing for personalization and alternative carry setups to fit your style.
Kizer’s attention to detail shines in every aspect of The New Widow, from the finely ground blade to the striking handle finish. It’s a knife designed for performance yet crafted with a distinct personality that makes it stand out in any lineup.
