Vintage Korean celadon incense burner (koro) with matching pierced lid. Soft gray-green celadon glaze over a rounded body carved and cut with swirling lucky-cloud (unmun) openwork so incense smoke can drift out. Two small sculpted side knobs and three short tripod feet. Domed lid repeats the same cloud piercing.
Goryeo-revival studio piece, late 20th century — not an antique Goryeo original. Brush-written two-character mark 峯岩 on the glazed base. Unglazed biscuit at the foot tips shows a warm buff clay typical of Korean celadon workshops.
Measurements (approx.):
• Height with lid: 3.25 in (8.3 cm)
• Width over side knobs: 4.25 in (10.8 cm)
• Body diameter: about 3.25 in
• Interior opening: about 1.75–2 in
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs. Foot pads have expected kiln grit and unglazed wear. Interior is fully glazed and clean. Lid seats well.
Works with coil incense, cones, or as a small display censer. Nice signed example of modern Korean celadon openwork.
