Up for sale is an exceptionally dramatic, large-scale antique Art Deco era boudoir \"bed doll.\" Measuring the size of a toddler, she has an incredible, intense display presence. Seated in a chair, her expression and side-glancing eyes give her a remarkably lifelike, watchful quality that commands the energy of any room she sits in.
• Impressive Scale: This is an exceptionally large model, comparable in size to a toddler. [Insert exact length] inches from head to toe.
• Head & Legs: Features a beautifully molded composition head and lower legs. Her face paint is striking, with high-contrast dark red lips and blushing cheeks. The composition material on the head and legs is remarkably stable and smooth, without significant crazing or cracking.
• Wig & Accents: Retains her original light brown mohair wig, adorned with a delicate black net birdcage veil hair attachment.
• Body Structure & Voice Box: Built with a soft, cloth-stuffed torso and elongated fabric-wrapped hip jointing designed for lounging poses. Inside her chest sits her original internal voice box mechanism; it is completely intact structurally but is currently silent. She is missing one arm, giving her the classic, beautifully weathered look of a storied estate piece.Condition Notes:
This doll is being sold as-found. Aside from the missing arm, the remaining composition parts (head and legs) are in lovely, smooth condition without major cracking. The fabric torso shows typical light vintage storage patina and aging. The internal voice box does not sound when moved.
