Vintage Alaskan-style cloth doll, approximately 15 “ tall, dressed in traditional Arctic clothing.
I don’t know much about the stall or her history. She was found out an estate sale.
The doll has a hand-painted cloth face with a painted nose, painted brown eyes, rosy cheeks, and a sweet closed smile, with painted black bobbed hair. It has carved hands with separated fingers.
She wears a peach cotton gauze parka with white V-neck trim and a fur-trimmed hood, cuffs, and hem, along with fur mukluks with leather ties.
Condition is consistent with age: light soiling and toning to the fabric, some shedding to the fur trim, and minor wear to the boots. No maker's tag found. Please see all photos, as they are part of the description.
This would make a great addition to a vintage doll or Alaskana collection. It will be carefully packed for shipping.
