Late 19th Early 20th Century water pitcher from The \"Birchwood\" Inn, in Temple, New Hampshire. The white fields on the front and back are heart shaped. There is an ornate undamaged ice lip.
I am not 100% certain this water pitcher is from The Birchwood Inn, in Temple, New Hampshire. However, all my research leads me there. Including:1. It\'s period.2. It\'s appropriate for the family style dining venues of the time.3. I\'ve seen an identical one from the Katterskill Hotel in the Catskill Mountains, New York. Exact same pitcher with \"Katterskill\" on one white field.4. Per its previous owner, it recently came from a Southern New Hampshire Estate.
It is about 9\" long x 5 1/2\" wide x 8 5/8\" high.It is in excellent condition. There is no damage. There is no crazing, discoloration, or surface wear, The applied gold trim is weak in spots. This piece has a great antique look & feel and displays exceptionally well.
