Lektrolite mechanical pencil which is also a flameless cigarette lighter. The Lektrolite lighters had a platinum sponge which acts as a catalyst. When methanol vapor is drawn through the catalyst the vapor is converted to formaldehyde creating enough heat to light a cigarette. The automotive product Heet is mostly methanol and subsituted. This is untested, there may be missing parts. The patent search didn\'t offer schematic drawings. The pencil part is untested, no lead.1933 pat. number 18999008. Barrel and it\'s fittings are in very good used condition showing wear, no cracks. The cracked ice pattern is more stunning in hand.
