Lg Jimmy Lee Sudduth Original Painting African American Southern Folk Art For Sale

Original painting by Jimmy Lee Sudduth (1910-2019) Listed self taught African American Folk artist from Fayette Alabama. This piece is on a large piece of plywood, painted with paint and mud. This is a skyscraper or tall building, likely somewhere in Alabama, he did numerous buildings, the White House, Apartments Building, churches. Signed by Sudduth in upper left. The painting is large 48 1/4” by 24 1/4\". Good condition. This is an estate item from a collection of American folk art. The collector was a prominent attorney from Washington DC/Virginia. Not sure of the age of this piece, she was actively collecting in the 80\'s 90\'s but some may have been family pieces.
