Lie-Nielsen Curly Maple 15tpi Dovetail Saw with Leather Case in Excellent Condition!!
Very lightly used saw (2005) with discontinued Curly Maple handle. This one is straight, no taper. Razor sharp with original factoryset.There are a couple tiny use marks on the handle, refer to photos. Just a super nice tool that you can\'t easily find anymore.
Matching leather case included. Note: only the saw and case included. The chisel roll in the pics is just a *literal* prop. :D

We believe that our Back Saws are the finest made anywhere. They are based on a British saw made in 1830. Owning one is like having a piece of woodworking history in your shop.
Since dovetailing is a ripping operation, where the kerf is running with the grain, our Dovetail Saw has its teeth ground to a rip profile. Solid milled Brass back, finest quality Swedish Steel blade, Cherry handle and traditional Brass split nut saw bolts.
With 15 points per inch, this Saw strikes an ideal balance between surface finish and speed. Teeth are set at .003\" per side for a .026\" kerf — narrow to help you cut straight.

- Length, including handle, is 15\", with an overall height of 4¼\" .
- Useable blade dimensions are 10\" long by 1-5/8\" deep x .020\" thick.
Please note: It became increasingly difficult over the last few years to source the sort of highly figured Curly Maple we used to use for our saw and screwdriver handles. Therefore, we have phased out Maple and switched to Cherry, which makes a very beautiful handle.
