The Limoges Titanic Trinket Box Peint Main Jacques features a detailed design inspired by the Titanic ship. This collectible piece showcases intricate hand-painted imagery of the Titanic at sea adding a touch of elegance and history to any decor.
The condition is very good. The porcelain has no chips or hairline cracks. (Especially around the four smoke stacks). The brass trim has a warm patina present. The box snaps shut and is secure. The bottom has the hallmarks authenticating this piece. Based on my findings, approximately 500 were made of this piece.
The hidden surprise is when the trinket box is opened, there is a lifeboat painted on the bottom of the interior! So unique.
The Limoges brand is known for its high-quality craftsmanship and this trinket box is a perfect addition for those interested in maritime memorabilia or decorative collectibles.
