MARGARET DELAND - HANDWRITTEN & SIGNED INVITATION TO A \"FLY PARTY\" For Sale

A curious 2 page note handwritten and signed by Margaret Deland inviting a Mrs. Rogers to attend a \"Fly Party\" to be held at Mrs. Hurley\'s. The lettter is entirely written in Deland\'s handwriting and sigend by her. Deland was a popular novelist around the turn of the twentieth century. She was a social reformer who was very supportive of the cause of unwed mothers. Slight remnant of adhesive on blank side, still in very good condition.
