9.5\" tall and 3.75\" diameter base.

There is a big \"MF\" in the base and on reverse side MFD Co. registered. Not dated.

I was not able to locate any other bottles from this dairy when doing my research.

Conditionis as shown in the photos with this listing.Bottle is clean. Was likely really used, has light signs of age and use wear such as places with clouding, scratches, ruband scuff, age and use. It is heavy weighing almost 2 pounds unwrapped. No chips cracks or repairs that I see or feel.

The Mishawaka Farmer Dairy Company was established in 1914 by Mr. Wallace of Goshen, who owned and operated it successfully until his accidental death on September 1, 1919. On September 1, 1920, the plant was taken over by a company with seventy-seven farmers as stockholders, and with a capital stock of $50,000.Mishawaka Farmers Dairy was built in 1921 on West 3rd Street. In 1926, the business relocated to South Main Street, where the building still stands today. Its owners were local dairy farmers who purchased shares in the business.The company did a retail and wholesale milk business, marketing the milk produced by the stockholders, while two trucks are used to collect the milk. The product, which rans about twelve hundred gallons a day, was clarified and pasteurized and then bottled. Two-thirds of the milk was sold to retail trade in the cities of Mishawaka and South Bend, Indiana and the remainder to wholesaled to grocers, bakers, etc. The officers of the company were Lemuel Sheets, president, H.T. Killan, secretary, O.P. Rogers, treasurer, and all three are directors together with six other men, John H. Fulmer, Ray Monhout, John Monhout, Leo Gertbauer, Joseph Meyers and C. E. Weiss. Mr. Edward Grunawalt became general manager of the company soon after its organization, previous to which he had been a milk retailer in Mishawaka for seven years.After a half century in business, Mishawaka Farmers Dairy was purchased by McDonald Dairy Co. of Benton Harbor in 1974. All of the bottling operations were moved out from Mishawaka.
