Magnificent Heirloom-Grade Honduran Rosewood Eye Burl (Majestic Kit)Fountain Pen For Sale

This Truly Unique Heirloom-Grade Honduran Rosewood Eye Burl (Majestic Kit) Fountain Pen is made of the rarest of all forms of Honduran Rosewood Burl. The raw material blank from which this pen was turned, displayed eye figure on all four sides with full surface coverage on each side. Resulting in full circumferential display of Heirloom-Grade Figure as opposed to 180 degrees of a wood of completely different character and value, which would be the natural and expected result from a two sided eye Burl blank. Burl segments are typically less than 2% of the Doyle footage yield of any given tree. Four sided eye Burl is less than 1% of that 2%. That is the true definition of scarce or rare. Featuring a medium-sized nib with an Iridium Point, this fountain pen is designed for smooth and precise writing. Gun metal and Chrome trim were chosen because of their compatibility with colors displayed in the raw material. The Gallery image is of the pen’s clip face. The second image is of the opposing 180 degrees of the pen’s full circumference. The assembled pen is 5.5 inches long and weighs 3.2 oz. Indiana buyers are required to pay State Sales Tax. The Central American Hardwoods’ assigned item # is HR4044-E.
