This listing is for my favorite Man's Best Friend Bulldog Stein - the Sea Captain. He is 16th in the dog series and 8th of the English Bulldogs. It stands 11 1/2" tall, is 6" wide, and 8 1/4" deep. This is 69th of the limited 5000 made.
Made of porcelain, it is hand painted with great details! He is wearing a blue jacket with gold buttons and a white/beige sweater. His sailor hat has an anchor symbol and he is enjoying a cigar.He is manning the ship's wheel while scanning the horizon with his scope. The handle is designed after the Cape Hatteras lighthouse with waves splashing.
*** I bought this used and it has been kept in my "Bulldog curio" since I have had it. Looks great! The only thing I see is that the inside of the pewter lid is not shiny.
