Mint Vintage Columbia SS5 SS3 Mesinger M-300 Black Muscle Bike Banana Seat For Sale

A used black Columbia SS3 and SS5 Mesinger M-300 muscle bike banana seat. This seat was used on a few muscle bikes in the late 60's and early 70's like the Hawthorne Jumbo Jet and was also used on the ARCO E-Z Rider I and II mini bikes from the 1970's. This seat however, has the details like the white strap and attached rear reflectors that make it the original seat for the Columbia SS3 and SS5 bikes. The seat is used but is mint condition and could pass for an NOS seat. The seat doesn't have any rips or tears on the edges and the cover has only a few rub marks from use that might be able to be polished off with some Plastix X paste. The white seat strap, which always seems to be missing from these seats, is still attached to the seat and in great shape. It has a slight rub mark on the top edge but is very nice. The rear reflector is also very nice and still attached with the original rivets. Finally, the bottom of the seat is in great condition and the original black paint it very nice as well as the original plating on the front clamp. Also included are original Mesinger sissy bar clamps, bolts, and nuts for mounting the seat. An impossible to find seat in this condition for the super rare Columbia Super Sport choppers. Perfect for a mint original bike or for your best restoration. Please email me with any questions.
