Mixture 4 Thanksgiving Antique Postcards. EMB, Gold. Turkeys. Fall Foliage
This is a nice selection of antique THANKSGIVING postcards that show TURKEYS in rural and field areas, as well as FALL FOLIAGE. These have the classic turkey look seen on antique postcards from the early 1900s. The postcards are nicely drawn and have a colorful and attractive look to them. They have good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. These are EMBOSSED postcards with two of them having GOLD TRIM in the design. They come from different publishers.
The designs of these postcards have the feel of the Thanksgiving season, and provide a glimpse of life back in the early 1900s. They are good postcards to add to a collection. They wouldappeal to collectors because of their nice designs, their colorful nature, and how they capture the postcard style used back in the early 1900s. Overall, a niceselection of antique Thanksgiving postcards at a reasonable price.
The postcards are UNPOSTED (1) and POSTED (3) with cancel dates of 1908-1922. Some of these postcards would have been \"Printed in Germany\" during the \"Golden Age of Postcards\" (1908-1915 era). They have DIVIDED backs.
These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning, and edge wear due to their age (over 100 years old!).The photos show the postcards and the backs.
