This is an authentic Model 1885 Musician\'s Full Dress Tunic from the Indian Wars period.The garment is a dark blue wool coat featuring white cloth facings on the collar, cuffs, and shoulder tabs, which designates it specifically for Infantry regimental bands (as white became the infantry branch color starting in late 1884/1885). It features the elaborate white herringbone or mohair braid loops (braiding) across the chest and standard brass general service eagle buttons down the front.
