Vintage Vietnam War U.S. Military Aviation Comms Grouping – Pilot Flight Helmet Mic & Earphone Covers
Historic & Collector Overview
This historical grouping represents an authentic, time-capsule piece of U.S. Military Aviation history from the height of the Vietnam War. This grouping brings together a beautifully preserved, October 1972 Electro-Voice M-87/AIC Dynamic Microphone along with three unissued boxes of Earphone Element Covers (dated 1966 and 1969). These components were essential to the life support and communication systems integrated into the iconic flight helmets worn by Army, Navy, and Air Force pilots, co-pilots, and door gunners who operated aircraft like the UH-1 "Huey", AH-1 Cobra, CH-47 Chinook, and F-4 Phantom.
