NOS 1951Delco-Remy distributor cap, part number 824987, still sealed in the original orange metal service tin. One cap. Marked “Original Equipment Service Parts” and “Made in U.S.A. / Delco-Remy Division, General Motors Corporation, Anderson, Indiana, U.S.A.” Reverse of the tin reads “Always use original equipment Delco-Remy parts in Delco-Remy equipment.”
Tin shows light age wear: edge rub, small dents, and surface scuffs. It has not been opened. Cap inside has not been inspected.
Public cross-reference data describes 824987 as a 6-cylinder distributor cap, snap-spring / side-clip mount, push-in terminals, roughly 3.28 in diameter. Other sellers list interchange 813597, 814541, and 823294 and claim use on certain Packard, Rolls-Royce, Chrysler, Auburn, and Pierce-Arrow applications. Buyer must confirm fitment to their distributor before purchase. Sold as a sealed NOS service part for the classic-car and parts collector market.
