Beautiful natural mica book specimen collected in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.
This is an unusually thick and substantial piece, weighing approximately 98 grams. It displays spectacular layers of highly reflective silver mica alongside dark black/brown mica and contrasting tan/cream pegmatite matrix.
The specimen has excellent natural sparkle and dramatic metallic-looking cleavage surfaces. The mica appears to include muscovite with darker biotite-rich material, typical of mica-bearing pegmatites found in the LaGrange/Troup County area.
This is natural, unpolished, and unaltered mineral material collected from the LaGrange, Georgia
