Neon Genesis Evangelion Rei Ayanami 2000 Shonen Ace Phone Card CGC 10 Japanese For Sale

Neon Genesis Evangelion Japanese phone card, graded CGC 10 GEM MINT (cert 1401032365115). Rei Ayanami in her plugsuit, in Yoshiyuki Sadamoto's watercolor — one of the defining images of the character. This is the Monthly Shonen Ace NTT phone card (CGC dates it c.2000); PSA catalogs the same design as the 1998 Shonen Ace "All Applicants Service" November card — a mail-in applicants-service premium, never sold at retail. Evangelion phone cards from the 1990s survive in tiny numbers in this condition. Most of these cards were carried in wallets and spent at payphones. This one wasn't.
