Teak wood trivets designed by Richard Nissen, vintage 1960s, made in Denmark. This Danish modern table accessory is composed of turned circular teak elements connected by cylindrical rods, forming a geometric openwork grid. The design allows heat dissipation while protecting surfaces from hot cookware, serving dishes or teapots. Both sides are identical, allowing reversible use. One circular element is incised "Nissen, Denmark".
