ORIGINAL GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE SUSPENDER CABLE SOUVENIR- 3\" PIECE of ORIGINAL CABLE For Sale

Original Golden Gate Bridge Suspender Cable souvenir. This is a 3\" piece of the original suspender cable. A three year project between 1973 & 1976 the original suspender cables were replaced because of advancing corrosion. The bridge district decided to cut the original cables and make souvenirs of them to be sold to the public so people could own a piece of San Francisco and U.S. land mark history. This is one of them. It still has the original iconic orange paint on it. These souvenirs sold out and have not been available for decades. Displays well.
