ORREFORS Zaza Cylindrical Crystal Vase, Helén Krantz-Designed, 1990s, Signed For Sale

This beautiful crystal vase of the Zaza line (signed) is distinctive for its thick, premium Swedish crystal and its heavy polished base (which provides optimal stability to prevent top-heavy flower arrangements from tipping over) with s single controlled bubble. The tall (8”) cylinder silhouette features an integrated vertical folkloric Nordic-pattern etching.

There is a small rim chip (see photo) thus lowering the listing price of the vase from its otherwise range of $60-80. The chip is unnoticeable when the vase is displayed.

There is also a 2-3mm superficial scratch mid-vase lateral to the etching; it is so small that it was difficult to photograph. It is noticeable only upon close inspection. Overall the condition is very good for a 30+ year old vase.

It is a striking piece sure to please any collector of art glass, particularly Scandanavian.
