Old Epworth Junior League Pin Methodist Church Youth Group, W. Little & Co NY For Sale

Here is an old Epworth Junior League pin, it\'s a metal gold color pin, cross or star shaped, with the initials E J L around the sides and top. In the center is a cross with the words LOOK UP LIFT UP written around the cross. The Epworth Junior League was organized in May of 1889 in Cleveland, Ohio, as a society for younger children and youth in the Methodist Church. It\'s motto was \"Look up\" encouraging spiritual growth and \"Lift up\" helping others. It measures about 5/8 of an inch across. The pin has some wear on the edges that are turning black, the back of the pin has a lot of tarnish or black on it. Might just need cleaned or polished, I don\'t know. The pin part does not go into the loop or ring to hook. Please see the photos also. Still a nice little pin for collectors. If you like old photographs and ephemera, please check outmy store and the other old photos and things I have listed. Many different subjects, time periods andplaces! I mail all my old photos inenvelopes with cardboard to keep them from being bent. I do combine postage whenever possible. Thankyou!
