The painting is executed in vivid opaque colors on extremely lightweight black fibrous paper, giving the work its distinctive dark ground and intense contrast. The saturated reds, oranges, blues, purples and greens, flattened composition, decorative linework, figures, animals and vegetation are characteristic of the Yunnan School aesthetic. The work is unsigned, with no identifying artist marks or inscriptions found. It is therefore being offered as an unsigned Yunnan School / Yunnan School-style original without attribution to a specific artist. Excellent condition.
