This is an original oil painting by American Artist Chris Jenkins. The painting, entitled "Autumn on the Reading", depicts a fast moving freight and the autumn colors of the Pennsylvania forest. The train is led by beautiful Reading F-units. The painting is 18 inches high by 24 inches wide on stretched canvas.
The painting is sold unframed. The painted area continues over the 3/4 inch deep painted edges, so the painting can be hung unframed if you wish. The painting is finished with a coat of archival gloss varnish, and should last for generations. A certificate of authenticity comes with the painting. The painting will be carefully packed and shipped at no charge to anywhere in the 48 continental United States.
I am a Florida based artist who specializes in painting trains, ships and airplanes. My paintings have been selected for juried exhibitions, published in magazines and on magazine covers, as a picture puzzle, as the background for checks, and as nationally distributed Christmas cards. I am listed in AskArt's Blue Book of American Artists, and my advertisements have appeared in Classic Trains Magazine for many years, and will now appear quarterly in Trains Magazine.
The painting is copyrighted, and the artist retains a digital image of the painting and all reproduction rights. The original will be yours to enjoy forever.
