PEXTO is an acronym for Peck, Stow & Wilcox Company, officially adopting the brand for its tools around the 1920s. Acquired by Billings & Spencer Company in 1950, it was later sold to Crescent Niagara Corporation in 1962. Today, the PEXTO brand is owned by RW Acquisition, L.L.C. (Roper Whitney), which continues to produce sheet metal fabricating machinery.
