These are beautiful teeth from a Pterosaur, aka Pterodactyl aka flying\"dinosaur\", from the middle Cretaceous of Morocco! Pterosaurs are asinfamous as their prehistoric counterpart dinosaurs, and are often confused asbeing such despite being close relatives and not true dinosaurs. They were thefirst vertebrates to evolve powered flight, and would also become the largestwith some species having wing spans of nearly 40 feet! Although the wing spanof most species was less than ten feet. Toothed Pterosaurs were generallysmaller than there toothless cousins with wingspans rarely approaching 20 feet.
The teeth each measure about .7 inches (1.77 cm) with no repair orrestoration! Each comes in a 3.5 x 3.5 inch floating frame with and info cardthat labels the fossil and details the age and location it was found and somefun facts about Pterosaurs!
