this belonged to my mother. it never was put in a dishwasher [Heaven foroffer]. it has a blue/green tint and was produced by Corning Glass Works. the removable handle is also Glass. a tight fit, no wobbling!
on Saturdays mom would cut in half 2 slices of bacon for this 7\" pan [ so they\'d fit] then fry up an egg or two for my dad. I think she loved that little pan as much as she loved my dad:)
The Glass is a birosilicate thermal shock resistant glass.
